Longview Ranch is located north of Crownpoint, NM in the Four Corners area, just off the Navajo Reservation. This land has been in the family since it was homesteaded in the late 1800s. A trading post was in operation until the 1940s and still stands at the ranch headquarters. The ranch raises registered Corriente cattle and registered Foundation Quarter horses.
A working ranch, our horses have to ‘measure up’ to the rigors of the job. King Ranch bloodlines carry a proven history with decades of selection based on real life ranch work. It’s foundation quarter horse breeding like this that not only gets it done out on the range, but in the performance arena as well. At Longview Ranch, we produce classic ‘old style’ horses with the versatility to go either way. King Ranch bloodlines such as Old Sorrel, Hired Hand, and Rey Del Rancho lines are the well from which we draw. With additional genetics from the likes of Doc O’lena, Dry Doc and Mr San Peppy we feel we have ‘the right kind’. Look around. We think you’ll agree.
